Descripción del producto

GENERALITIES:

Hranipur SPEED is a fast-curing, single-component polyurethane adhesive designed for high-strength, waterproof bonding in demanding joinery and construction projects. Upon application, it creates a slight foaming action that effectively fills gaps and irregularities in the substrate, ensuring a solid bond even on uneven surfaces. Curing via air humidity, it forms an extremely strong, permanent joint that meets the rigorous EN 204 D4 standard for water resistance. It is solvent-free, sandable, and paintable after curing.

  • D4 Water Resistance: Certified to EN 204 class D4, suitable for exteriors exposed to weather (with surface protection) and humid interiors.
  • Gap Filling: Thixotropic foaming action penetrates and fills cavities, correcting imperfect fits in wood joints.
  • High Strength: Delivers exceptional bond strength, often exceeding the cohesive strength of the wood itself.
  • Fast Curing: Accelerated reaction time allows for quicker processing and unclamping compared to standard D4 adhesives.
  • Versatile Adhesion: Excellent grip on wood, concrete, masonry, metal, polystyrene, and various plastics.
  • Workshop Ready: Sandable and paintable after curing; resistant to common chemicals and aging.

USAGE / EXAMPLE OF USE:

  • Structural bonding of window and door frames, manufacturing of wooden stairs and handrails.
  • Assembly of garden furniture (gazebos, pergolas) requiring weather resistance, and heavy-duty furniture construction.
  • Bonding sandwich panels and insulation materials (polystyrene, PUR foam) to wood or concrete, fixing wooden thresholds, window sills
  • Skirting boards to masonry, and general structural mounting.
  • Interior & Exterior: Fabrication elements exposed to high humidity where a waterproof D4 bond is mandatory.
  • General Repair: Fixing loose joints in furniture restoration, bonding mixed materials (wood to metal, ceramic to wood), and securing ceramic tiles or stone veneers in workshop settings.

APPLICATION / HANDLING:

Surfaces must be clean, dust-free, and grease-free. One of the surfaces should be porous; if bonding two non-porous materials, lightly mist one side with water (10-20 g/m²) to accelerate curing.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut the cartridge tip and screw on the application nozzle. Cut the nozzle to the desired diameter.

Apply the adhesive to one surface using a caulking gun. For larger areas, spread with a notched trowel.

Join the parts together within the open time (approx. 5 minutes).

Fix and press the parts firmly ensuring good contact. Keep clamped until the adhesive has cured sufficiently (approx. 15-30 minutes depending on humidity and temperature).

Fresh foam/adhesive can be removed with a cleaner; cured material must be removed mechanically.

CLEANING:

Uncured adhesive can be removed immediately using Hraniclean 03 or technical benzine. Cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically (sanding, cutting). Hands should be cleaned immediately with water and soap or a suitable hand repair cream.

PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE USING:

Contains isocyanates. Ensure good ventilation during application. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wear protective gloves. Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed safety information.

STORAGE:

Store in the original unopened packaging in a dry place.

Temperature range: +5 °C to +25 °C.

Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture.
