GENERALITIES:

H-Silicone WHITE is a high-quality, single-component silicone sealant based on acetoxy curing technology. It cures via atmospheric humidity to form a permanently elastic, colour-stable white rubber joint with excellent resistance to UV radiation, weathering, and aging.

Featuring 600 % elongation and a low modulus (0.3 MPa), it accommodates significant joint movement while maintaining adhesion. The bright white finish remains stable without yellowing. Excellent grip on non-porous substrates including glazed tiles, ceramics, glass, and anodized aluminium without primer. Temperature resistance –50 °C to +120 °C after curing. Not paintable.

  • Clean White Finish: Colour-stable, bright white seal ideal for matching white furniture and sanitary ware.
  • High Elasticity: 600 % elongation accommodates joint movement and thermal expansion.
  • UV & Weather Resistant: Permanently withstands sunlight without yellowing or cracking.
  • Fast Curing: Acetoxy system ensures quick skin formation (≈13 min) and reliable cure.

USAGE / EXAMPLE OF USE:

Furniture Manufacturing: Sealing joints in white laminate furniture, kitchen cabinets, and bathroom vanities to create a seamless, water-resistant finish.

Sanitary Installation: Sealing gaps between white ceramic fixtures (basins, toilets) and wooden or tiled surfaces in bathrooms and kitchens.

Joinery & Fitting: Finishing edges between white worktops and splashbacks, sealing around white plinths, and filling gaps in built-in wardrobes.

Windows & Doors: Glazing and sealing white wooden or PVC window frames and door casings where a colour-matched seal is essential.

GENERAL WORKSHOP: AESTHETIC SEALING OF WHITE COATED METALS, APPLIANCE INSTALLATION, AND GENERAL MAINTENANCE OF WHITE SURFACES.:

APPLICATION / HANDLING:

The substrate must be clean, firm, and free of loose particles, dust, grease, and oil.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut the cartridge tip and attach the nozzle. Cut the nozzle to the desired bead width.

Apply the silicone using a mechanical or pneumatic caulking gun.

Tool the sealant immediately (within approx. 10 minutes) using a spatula dipped in soapy water to ensure a smooth, professional finish.

Remove masking tape immediately after tooling.

NOTE:

Acetoxy silicones release acetic acid during curing (vinegar smell). Do not use on alkaline substrates (concrete, mortar, plaster, marble), corrodible metals (lead, copper, zinc, galvanized steel, aluminium), or mirrors (may attack the backing). Also not suitable for PE, PP, Teflon, PMMA, ABS, polycarbonate, or bituminous substrates. For sealing acrylic bathtubs, use only neutral silicones (e.g., H-Silicone Mirror).

JOINT DIMENSIONS:

Minimum width 4 mm, maximum width 25 mm. Ideal joint width-to-depth ratio is 2:1.

LIMITATIONS:

Not suitable for use on PE, PP, Teflon, PMMA, ABS, polycarbonate, concrete, marble, aluminium, copper and galvanized sheet, lead, galvanically coated steel, mirrors, or bituminous substrates. For acrylic bathtubs, use neutral silicone only.

CLEANING:

Uncured material should be removed immediately using Hraniclean 01. Cured silicone can only be removed mechanically. Hands should be washed with soap and water; a restorative hand cream is recommended.

PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE USING:

Ensure good ventilation during application and curing due to the release of acetic acid. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Keep out of reach of children. Please consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed safety information.

STORAGE:

Store in the original unopened packaging in a dry place.

Temperature range: +5 °C to +25 °C.

Shelf life: 24 months from the date of manufacture.
