Descripción del producto

GENERALITIES:

H-Polymer MS TRANSPARENT is a crystal-clear adhesive based on MS polymer technology, designed for applications where the bond line must remain invisible. Its unique "chameleon effect" allows it to blend seamlessly with surrounding materials regardless of colour or finish.

Fully UV resistant and frost-proof, it will not yellow or degrade even under prolonged sunlight exposure — suitable for both interior and exterior use. Delivers 2.2 MPa tensile strength with 250 % elongation. Free from solvents, silicones, and isocyanates; temperature resistance –40 °C to +90 °C after curing. Paintable with suitable water-based dispersion paints.

  • Invisible Bonding: Crystal-clear formulation with chameleon effect for completely discreet joints.
  • 100 % UV Resistant: Guaranteed stability against yellowing or degradation in sunlight — interior and exterior use.
  • Frost-Proof: Maintains full performance down to –40 °C after curing.
  • Strong & Flexible: 2.2 MPa tensile strength with 250 % elongation accommodates movement.
  • Surface Versatility: Excellent adhesion to porous and non-porous materials including wood, glass, metals, and concrete.
  • Workshop Safety: Solvent-free, silicone-free, isocyanate-free; odourless during application.
  • Paintable: Accepts suitable water-based dispersion paints after full cure (excluding alkyd resins).

USAGE / EXAMPLE OF USE:

  • Glass Element Bonding: Ideal adhesive for bonding glass shelves, display cabinet components, shower screens, and decorative glass features where the joint must be invisible.
  • Transparent Repairs & Assembly: All-purpose clear bonding for maintenance, repairs, and new installations where colour-matched adhesive is impractical.
  • Furniture Hardware: Discreet mounting of furniture fittings, decorative trim, moldings, and edge profiles.
  • Window Sill & Threshold Installation: Interior and exterior bonding of window sills and parapets with a weatherproof, UV-stable seal.
  • Metal & Sheet Metal Work: Bonding and sealing of sheet metal components, flashings, and architectural metalwork.
  • Multi-Material Assembly: Reliable adhesion to wood, concrete, masonry, metals, plastics, and glass — in construction and industrial applications alike.

APPLICATION / HANDLING:

The substrate must be clean, firm, and free of loose particles, dust, grease, and oil. No primer is typically required for most common substrates.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut the cartridge tip above the thread and attach the application nozzle. Cut the nozzle tip to achieve the desired bead width.

Apply the adhesive using a mechanical or pneumatic caulking gun in vertical strips or dot patterns on one of the bonding surfaces.

Press the materials together firmly and evenly within the skin formation time (approximately 10 minutes at 23 °C).

For heavy vertical components, temporary mechanical support may be required until the adhesive has developed sufficient strength.

If used as a sealant, smooth the joint with a spatula or soapy water before the skin forms.

NOTE:

Not suitable for bonding PE, PP, PC, PMMA, soft plastics, Teflon (PTFE), asphalt, or bituminous substrates. Always perform a compatibility test before using on unfamiliar materials.

CLEANING:

Uncured adhesive should be removed immediately using Hraniclean 01 or extra-strong cleaning wipes. Fully cured material can only be removed by mechanical means. Hands should be washed immediately with soap and water; a restorative hand cream is recommended.

PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE USING:

Please consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before handling this product. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and curing. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Keep out of reach of children.

STORAGE:

Store in the original unopened packaging in a dry place.

Temperature range: +5 °C to +25 °C.

Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture.
