Descripción del producto

GENERALITIES:

H-Polymer MS BLACK is a high-tack structural adhesive based on MS polymer technology, distinguished by its deep black pigmentation. With an initial grab of 500 kg/m², it bonds heavy components instantly without mechanical fixation or clamping.

The adhesive cures via atmospheric humidity to form a permanently elastic bond with 2.2 MPa tensile strength and 335 % elongation. The black colour makes it ideal for dark timber, shadow gaps, slate installations, and automotive applications where visible glue lines would be unacceptable. Free from isocyanates, solvents, phthalates, and silicones; temperature resistance –40 °C to +90 °C after curing.

  • Extreme Immediate Tack: Initial grab of 500 kg/m² secures heavy elements instantly without support.
  • Aesthetic Integration: Deep black pigmentation blends invisibly with dark substrates and shadow details.
  • High Structural Strength: Final tensile strength of 2.2 MPa for robust, load-bearing joints.
  • Permanent Elasticity: 335 % elongation absorbs movement and dampens vibration.
  • Safe Composition: Free from silicones, solvents, phthalates, and isocyanates; odourless application.
  • Wide Temperature Range: Resistant to moisture, water, and weather; performs from –40 °C to +90 °C.

USAGE / EXAMPLE OF USE:

  • Dark Joinery & Furniture: Invisible bonding of dark wood species (walnut, wenge, smoked oak) and black matte furniture components where glue lines must remain completely hidden.
  • Shadow Gaps & Open Joints: Installation of wall panels and architectural cladding with deliberate shadow gaps where black adhesive disappears into the background.
  • Heavy-Duty Mounting: Instant fixation of acoustic panels, stone veneers, and decorative elements without temporary bracing or support structures.
  • Automotive & Industrial: Bonding of metal components, carbon fiber elements, and bodywork parts where black sealing is the industry standard — excellent vibration damping properties.
  • Exterior Stone & Slate: Waterproof structural bonding of dark granite window sills, slate cladding, and facade elements requiring UV-stable black joints.

APPLICATION / HANDLING:

The substrate must be clean, firm, and free of loose particles, dust, grease, and oil. H-Polymer MS Black adheres effectively even to slightly damp surfaces.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Fit the supplied V-nozzle for optimal bead geometry.

Apply the adhesive using a quality caulking gun (the high viscosity requires good mechanical leverage) in vertical strips or dot patterns, proportionate to the weight and size of the component being bonded.

Press the materials together firmly with a slight sliding motion to ensure full wet-out of the contact surfaces.

Due to the exceptional initial tack, mechanical support is rarely necessary — simply verify the bond is secure before releasing.

Allow the joint to cure fully before applying external loads (2–3 mm depth cures per 24 hours at 23 °C and 55% relative humidity).

NOTE:

When using the special application nozzle supplied with the product, approximately 4 linear meters of bead can be dispensed from one 290 ml cartridge.

LIMITATIONS:

Not suitable for use on PE, PP, PC, PMMA, soft plastics, Teflon (PTFE), asphalt, or bituminous substrates. Not recommended for applications involving continuous water immersion or contact with chlorine.

CLEANING:

Uncured adhesive should be removed immediately using Hraniclean 01 or extra-strong cleaning wipes. Fully cured material can only be removed by mechanical means. Hands should be washed with soap and water; a restorative hand cream is recommended after cleaning.

PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE USING:

Please consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before handling this product. Ensure adequate ventilation during application and curing. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Keep out of reach of children.

STORAGE:

Store in the original unopened packaging in a dry place.

Temperature range: +5 °C to +25 °C.

Shelf life: 18 months from the date of manufacture.
