APPLICATION / HANDLING

Wood preparations: work pieces should be properly planed and free of dust and grease. Tolerances cause prolonged setting times and less mechanical strength. You can use any of the common application ways. Before use, mi the adhesive and test all materials intended for bonding to be sure about good results. Make sure that the wood does not contain tannin, such wood may change colour when using Hranicoll D3 STANDARD.
Hranicoll D3 STANDARD is applied with the common application tools on one or both sides. The coating weight depends on the absorption and the surface conditions of the materials to be bonded. Among others, the temperature, humidity and absorption of the materials, the coating weight and the tension within the material have different influence on the open time, the setting time and the pressing time. Heat accelerates the setting procedure and shortens the open time. Do not apply below +15 °C (room and material temperature).
Avoid contact to iron, colour metal (brass, zinc, tin, copper, aluminium), alkalic materials, tanniferous wood may discolour .

CLEANING

After use machines and equipment can be cleaned with cold or warm water with Hraniclean 07 Cleaning Concentrate.
