PVAc glue Jowacoll 124.00 is very easy to use, fast setting and joint-filling. Mainly to be used for a flat bonding, for instance of veneers and laminate panels to particleboards, and for doubling procedures of particleboards. Also for bonding soft wood species used in the manufacture of edge-bonded panels.

Wood preparations: work pieces should be properly planed and free of dust and grease. Tolerances cause prolonged setting times and less mechanical strength. You can use any of the common application ways. Before use, mix the adhesive and test all materials intended for bonding to be sure about good results. Make sure that the wood does not contain tannin, such wood may change colour when using Jowacoll 124.00.
Jowacoll 124.00 is applied with the common application tools on one or both sides. The coating weight depends on the absorption and the surface conditions of the materials to be bonded. Among others, the temperature, humidity and absorption of the materials, the coating weight and the tension within the material have different influence on the open time, the setting time and the pressing time. Heat accelerates the setting procedure and shortens the open time. Do not apply below +15 °C (room and material temperature).
We recommend that all materials coming into contact with the glue are made of high-quality stainless steel or of inert plastic, e.g. Teflon, PP, polyamide. Avoid contact with other metals like zinc, brass, cooper or aluminium.
After use machines and equipment can be cleaned with cold or warm water with Hraniclean 07 Cleaning Concentrate.
Please consider the material safety data sheet of the product prior to handling.
